TUNING THE NISSAN SR20DET (S14)
A fresh, healthy Nissan SR20DET S14 in stock form came in well-prepped with the usual bolt-on modifications. The standout upgrades were Nismo 740cc injectors providing the fuel, and a Z32 MAF sensor replacing the more restrictive factory S14 unit.
The Z32 MAF was cleaned, wired, and soldered in that evening to ensure accurate airflow measurement at higher flow rates. The engine itself is low mileage and still runs its healthy OEM Garrett T28 turbocharger in excellent condition.
With a solid mechanical base and the right hardware in place, the FCTuningNistune ECU solution delivered a clean and impressive result. The tune was straightforward and produced a strong fast road and drift setup. Another well-sorted SR20 leaving FC Tuning with everything dialled in correctly.
