TUNING THE MITSUBISHI 4G63 (EVO 7)

This Mitsubishi 4G63 EVO 7 is running a GReddy TD05 18G turbocharger and is due another tuning session soon. During this visit, we identified a boost restriction caused by a blocked outlet nipple on the boost solenoid, which was affecting boost response. The engine was tuned via a bleed valve as a temporary measure. The custom ECU tune will be finalised on the return visit, with some fine-tuning, a little more boost, and fuel pressure adjustments to complete the setup. This EVO 7 has real potential — watch this space.
