TUNING THE MITSUBISHI 4G63 (EVO 6)
This 4G63-powered Evo 6 came in running an Evo 9 MR turbo — a brilliant upgrade when it’s set up properly. The larger-frame turbo gives the classic VI a serious boost in mid-range shove and top-end pull while still keeping that trademark 4G63 response.
Tuned with the trusty Apexi Power FC ECU, the car really came alive. The Power FC might be old-school, but in the right hands it remains a weapon — delivering crisp control, strong boost management, and a level of sharpness that transforms the whole package. A proper old-school setup done right.


Factory EVO 6 fitted with an MR Turbo (EVO 9) and an ebay tubular manifold (not the best but hey). Stock Clutch 🙂 Probably one of the most healthiest EVO 6 4G63s Ive tuned 🙂 Most are lucky to see around 380/390… This one surprised me.. The clutch is really what held me back from really winding up the turbo 🙂
Who needs to waste money on a heavy weight EVO 9 FQ400 eh when you can just go get one of these

Just wanna ask..is it required any sophisticated modification to fit evo9 MR turbo into evo 6? I found a set of evo9 turbine with actuator and planning to buy it if it is not hard to install..Thanks..
