Tuning the Ford Fiesta ST – Supercharged Pocket Rocket

Every now and then, a project comes along that’s just a little different from our usual Japanese turbo icons. This time, it was a trip up to Hypertech in Scotland to dyno tune a Ford Fiesta ST that had been given the supercharged treatment.

The Setup

This car retains its factory engine, but thanks to a well-executed supercharger conversion and supporting upgrades, it’s far from your standard hot hatch. Compact, light, and already sharp-handling, the addition of boost transforms the Fiesta into a true pocket rocket.

On the Dyno

Strapped down at Hypertech, the Fiesta came alive as we refined the mapping to get the most out of the setup while keeping reliability in check. The supercharger delivers instant throttle response and a surge of power that perfectly suits the car’s playful chassis.

The Result

The end result is a Fiesta ST that feels every bit at home tearing up Scotland’s twisty country lanes as it does blasting down a straight. With its lightweight frame, boosted punch, and stock engine still holding strong, this little hatch proves you don’t need big displacement to have big fun.
