TUNING THE NISSAN RB26DETT (R34)
An absolutely stunning example of the Nissan Skylines.. The R34 GTR. The Last of Nissans performance models before the arrival of the newer R35 GTR
The straight 6 is fully modified with a built bottom end & high lift cams to aid airflow, MAFless and modified turbos. The ECU replaced with a fully mapped Apexi D Jetro control unit. This car had paid me a visit before (with the previous owner) but the new owner was back for some fine tuning with quieter exhaust system as well as some fluid changes all around.
The result??? Great performance and even with massive horsepower the car is still extremely civilised on the road (once you get used to that clutch, hehe) and once you put your pedal to the metal all hell breaks loose as the smooth power delivery takes over and it just pulls and pulls and PULLS hard to 8000rpm
Enjoy it even more Dav.. You’ve a top TOP GTR dude with smooth power delivery and a superb spread of torque. Its great to see the new owners return back for just that little bit more !!

Agree the car has plenty of power for a road car and is now a little more discreet with the quieter HKS high power exhaust system. I’m sure I will be paying you a visit again.. what can you do with my 3lt Audi v6 ..

The engine/car in general sounds alot quiet with that exhaust system fitted and tuned 🙂
I will be introducing some Audi/VDub ECU upgrades later in the year.. Im just doing some testing on a few OEM ECU products, so Ill keep you posted and let you know when my new Audi/VW section pops up.
