Powered by ESL, Tuned by FC Tuning. This lovely Subaru Classic, now Tuned on the factory ECU utilising the wonderful ESL daughterboard which enabled the ecu to have switchable maps and also run mafless for added reliability. Another classic given a boost and ready for some fast road action.

A stunning mint Subaru Impreza STi Prodrive in for a custom FMIC conversion and mild tune on the OEM ECU.

Plans for the future include be a 500hp build.

Great torque low down from the EJ25 engine and a good base platform now to work from as this owner looks to perform more engine upgrades in the future.

A nice stock Subaru Impreza WRX EJ20 in for some mice upgrades modifications in the form a custom front mounted intercooler kit with its custom wrinkled finished pipework and polished off with a custom OEM ECU tune.

Nice power and torque for this daily London driver.

No doubt a future forged engine upgrade and twist kit in the near future for this owners nice subaru. Great colour too

The Subaru Forester is a compact crossover manufactured since 1997 by Subaru. Available in Japan from 1997, the Forester shares its platform with the Impreza. It was introduced in 1997 as a compact crossover wagon. It has been crowned Motor Trend’s 2009 and 2014 SUV of the Year and The Car Connection’s Best Car To Buy 2014.

This is how Subaru should have made them. With a nice dose of torque and power plus some added features such as Launch Control, Rally Anti Lag and Flat Shift to name a few.

In for tuning this STI with its modified VF series turbo. Little was known as to what power n torque to expect. So it was a case of initial check, strap down and tune. She did well. Enough power for the London Streets

EJ20 is stock in this case

In for some TLC before FC Tuning, we had this wonderful example of a UK Spec STi. An owner new to the Subaru platform The customer was advised to upgrade the tired old pump before any tuning was to commence. I couldn’t have agreed more. So out with the 10 year old stock pump and in went a nice fresh upgraded in-tank fuel pump in its place. Once the all important Dyno Prechecks had been done and enhancing ignition with a fresh set of plugs it was time to get setup on the dyno. A new actuator is on the way and this STI should net even more horsepower top end. Still. The owner has a nice baseline to work from. A fantastic Subaru Impreza making nice hp and tq.

TUNING THE SUBARU EJ20

This beloved Subaru Owner had been previously led around the garden path by another engine tuner that attempted to set the engine and ecu up on the road without much success causing serious piston damage.
The car and its owner then looked to Redline Motorsport to perform the surgery. So a full engine strip down, assessment and rebuild within a couple of weeks sharp including all mating meant the owner wasn’t off the road for too long.
The car was then put back to factory form and then setup professionally using the dyno and checked on the road.
The aim wasn’t massive power with this tune but to give the owner the pleasure of driving his beloved Subaru Impreza which the previous company had failed to allow him to do
Still with all the Catalytic Converters fitted power and torque was expected.
In the future Redline Motorsport expect to see the car back Redline Motorsports 350hp upgrade package

This time it was out with the old OEM ECU and in with the New Haltech ECU. A UK 1st.

There s a big story behind this P1. The new owner took on a project that was in a poor state,to say the least

Redline Motorsport took on the role of rebuilding and prepping the engine. The entire chassis needed a full strip down and the loom was removed in favour for some fresh wiring and an ECU to match the fresh OEM EJ20

So in this case it was a no brainer – The Haltech ECU was the perfect choice after considering the alternatives

A nice fast road Subaru Impreza WRX in for some simple bolt on mods and OEM ecu tuning.

These always respond very well when tuned with the VF34 turbo from the later STI models, followed by an exhaust upgrade to suit and a front mount intercooler. These are essential parts for high boost longevity on track and to wake them up from the factory 220hp.

A nice swift daily runner for the london streets.
