										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In for some TLC before FC Tuning, we had this wonderful example of a UK Spec STi. An owner new to the Subaru platform The customer was advised to upgrade the tired old pump before any tuning was to commence. I couldn&#8217;t have agreed more. So out with the 10 year old stock pump and in went a nice fresh upgraded in-tank fuel pump in its place. Once the all important Dyno Prechecks had been done and enhancing ignition with a fresh set of plugs it was time to get setup on the dyno. A new actuator is on the way and this STI should net even more horsepower top end. Still. The owner has a nice baseline to work from. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This beloved Subaru Owner had been previously led around the garden path by another engine tuner that attempted to set the engine and ecu up on the road without much success causing serious piston damage.<br />
The car and its owner then looked to Redline Motorsport to perform the surgery. So a full engine strip down, assessment and rebuild within a couple of weeks sharp including all mating meant the owner wasn&#8217;t off the road for too long.<br />
The car was then put back to factory form and then setup professionally using the dyno and checked on the road.<br />
The aim wasn&#8217;t massive power with this tune but to give the owner the pleasure of driving his beloved Subaru Impreza which the previous company had failed to allow him to do<br />
Still with all the Catalytic Converters fitted power and torque was expected.<br />
In the future Redline Motorsport expect to see the car back Redline Motorsports 350hp upgrade package<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This beautiful Subaru Impreza WRX show car came to us from Kream Developments. It was presented in show condition and needed careful ECU tuning to match.</p>
<p>We worked with the OEM factory ECU to carry out the <a href="https://fctuning.com/nistune/">Subaru EJ20 WRX Tuning</a>. The goal was smooth, reliable power while keeping the factory drivability intact.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_EJ_engine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Subaru EJ20</a> engine is known for its boxer layout and strong low-end torque. In WRX form, it uses a turbocharger to produce impressive power from a relatively small displacement.</p>
<p>A show car needs to perform as well as it looks. We made sure the tune delivered strong power and a smooth power curve throughout the rev range. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This Subaru EJ20 P1 Haltech Tuning session was a UK first. We replaced the old OEM ECU with a brand new <a href="https://fctuning.com/haltech/">Haltech ECU</a> — a first for a P1 in the UK.</p>
<p>There is a big story behind this P1. The new owner took on a project car that was in very poor condition. It needed serious work before it could be tuned.</p>
<p>Redline Motorsport rebuilt and prepped the engine. The entire chassis needed a full strip-down. They removed the old loom in favour of fresh wiring to suit the rebuilt engine and the new ECU.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_EJ_engine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Subaru EJ20</a> engine was rebuilt from fresh OEM components. With the clean build in place, the Haltech ECU was the obvious choice. It offered the best flexibility and performance for this level of build. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This fast road Subaru Impreza WRX came in for bolt-on modifications and OEM ECU tuning. It is a daily driver used on London streets and needed a reliable, smooth power increase.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_EJ_engine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Subaru EJ20 WRX</a> always responds well to a few key upgrades. We fitted the VF34 turbo from the later STI models. This was paired with an exhaust upgrade and a front-mount intercooler. These modifications are essential for high-boost longevity on track and to push past the factory 220hp figure.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://fctuning.com/ecu-solutions/">custom OEM ECU tune</a> completed the package. Power delivery became smooth and predictable, perfect for a fast road car used every day. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a UK first — a custom ECU and fresh loom fitment specifically for the Version 5 <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_EJ_engine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Subaru EJ20</a> Impreza P1. The project is a collaboration between Redline Motorsport and FC Tuning.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://fctuning.com/haltech/">Haltech Sprint 500 ECU</a> was chosen for this build. It offers the flexibility and precision required for a fully rebuilt P1 at this level. The custom loom was designed and fitted to suit the specific requirements of the EJ20 engine and the Sprint 500&#8217;s wiring.</p>
<p>This video captures the first start with the new ECU and loom installed. The EJ20 fires up cleanly and sounds great. Before full dyno tuning and boost control can be set up, the engine needs some break-in mileage first. An independent boost controller will also be fitted prior to the full dyno session.</p>
<p>Stay tuned for the full dyno action in the coming weeks.
