It was a real pleasure to tune such a PERFECT example of this now cool 80s Retro Nissan Turbo Car.. I used to love these as a kid so to get my hands on one and have fun setting it up and tuning it for the sat was a real pleasure.. It drives soo smooth. Still more to come as we were held back with a weak and tired actuator which couldnt really be adjusted. A bleed valve was fitted to bleed off and tune to 0.8bar. However, an electronic boost controller is on order along with a fresh turbo actuator and once remapped to 1.1bar this should make well over 300hp+ and around 350+ ft Ibs and this engine, revitalised, gives a nice spread of torque even with the factory turbocharger..

Quality.. Great Car, Great Engine and Treasured by its owner..

]]> Probably one of the nicest Zeds’ ive had the pleasure to tune n help out on. The owner found soooo much stuff wrong, or out of place, or gaskets leaking that had not been supposidly fitted or fixed by the company, with whom he paid to do the work. So he set about basically doing it alone.

Back for a final stint, knowing now that everything and anything would have been an improvement, it was time to see what the forged VG30DETT would deliver.

Injectors were nearly at their peak so boost was pulled back a little, but being a street car this setup was fine. If it was for the track then its recommended that slightly larger S15 injectors be used to eleviate the strain of the stock VG30DETT sidefeeds

Great car which was a pleasure to tune,and also owned by the UK’s South East Rep for the Nissan 300zx Owners Club. What a great example to set other UK owners clubs members. Nice!
