										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Powered by an FCTuningNistune ECU Solution, tuned by FC Tuning. It was a journey working with this clients project, with the main issues being wiring gremlins from the previous owner. However, we persevered testing everything and achieved a nice result in the end. I also know there is a lot more in this humble CA as the tune was on a crude bleed valve. Once a decent electronic boost controller is fitted and setup with 740cc injectors fitted at a minimum we can then really crank up the GT28RS and see an easy 340-360hp. Now that phase 1 is complete, the owner can now enjoy the 250hp and get used to the power as it is, before cranking out a potential another 60-80hp on the next session.</p>

Well maintained (as expected from Jaiz who&#8217;s no stranger to SX ownership and maintenance). So little was needed for me to do other than wire in an upgraded MAF and fit an FCTuningNistune ECU Solution and calibrate a base map so as further fingers checks could be performed in house.</p>
<p>A fantastic result after tuning from a 25 year old engine <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Lovin&#8217; the little Nissan CA !</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sporting a nice rocket bunny kit and the original little bad boy under the bonnet, this Emerald controlled CA had been sat laying dormant in a south london garage doing nothing and its poor owner was struggling to get it tuned and set up properly. When it first ran on the dyno the poor CA was producing 168hp @ just under 1bar, What the hell ?</p>
<p>I really had my work cut out with this one and knowing it had some life in it after a compression test and good check over it was really time to go to work on the dyno</p>
<p>after 2 &#8211; 3 hours of fully setting up the ECU the humble CA lived to see another dual carriageway</p>
<p>Probably one of the best little engines Nissan ever made.</p>

<p>The performance&#8230; well, with next to no weight, lets say the little 1.8 still continues to do me proud when seen to and looked after.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Previously this GT28RS on the CA was running a HD Stage 3 chip.. This quite simply was not the right setup for this engine.. as with ANY engine is MUST be custom tuned correctly, and that involves either a proper ROM tune or fitment of an engine management system and in this case an FCTuningNistune ECU was made for this engine..</p>
<p>After an hour or so later this car was performing much better all round. Better torque, acceleration, power, and MUCH MUCH smoother through every gear.</p>

OK.. so we know that they are of a less quality (naming no names) but hey.. As for Bang for ya Buck well.. watch and see&#8230;. God knows what the exact spec of these units. Can anyone tell me&#8230; Even though we peaked this one  testing at 1.9bar id say from this being the 3rd one ive done now that 1.6bar is really enough for the unknown spec.. The compressor simply doesnt cope well with high boost applications, but then what can you expect for a £250 quid kit :).. Still no doubt great fun on the motorway and im sure it will surprise a few people still..
