										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well.. What more can one say.. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B_engine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">B16</a> &#8211; Forged. Front Wheel Drive&#8230;&#8230; Certain words come to mind.. GRIP being the main 1. Small injectors limited this engines power output on the night, just as well, as that night test driving it was pretty damn and that kinda of power in a FWD car can be a little frightening, especially when the driver was initially only used to 200hp with limited boost before&#8230;. However. Once the ID1000&#8217;s are fitted and the engine is retuned to suit, boost can be raised from the current 1.2bar on the ebay turbo, to 1.5bar and it will be interesting.. not bad for a 350pound turbo kit setup.. Session had to be cut short and the purpose of this tuning session was to get a good baseman setup as many things need to be addresses on the car.. Factory Map Sensor needs to be replaced for the Omnibar 4 bar sensor and also the External Wastegate spring wasn&#8217;t allowing more than 0.3bar of boost.. So I&#8217;m looking forward to seeing this honda &#8211; round 2, as I look to tune the forged B18 turbo to around 1.3bar on the T3/T4 turbo <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Should make for a nice point to point fast road ride</p>

The Honda B16 VTEC engine responds very well to supercharging, offering a different power delivery character compared to a turbocharged setup.</p>
<p>FC Tuning carried out the ECU remap using our <a href="https://fctuning.com/apexi/">Apexi Power FC ECU</a>, carefully mapping fuel and ignition tables to work in harmony with the supercharger setup for safe and reliable power gains.</p>
<p>This is a great example of how the Honda B-series can be developed well beyond standard power outputs with the right combination of hardware and professional mapping.</p>
