TUNING THE NISSAN RB25DET (R33)
A freshly painted quality example of a Nissan Skyline R33 GTST in Bayside blue tuned on a VERY hot day in London. The Nissan RB25DET engine is kept in check with a PowerFC ECU. The only thing letting this one down on the day was a solid boost controller, so the engine power curve would see a rush in torque and power, as noted.
With a good solid boost controller fitted and a fresh actuator on the hybrid turbo, then one could expect an even smoother power curve. As usual though this is emphasised on the dyno more so.
Car still drove great and this one will be back for more power in the future
